Journey vs Destination

"the journey is half the adventure" I used to think this saying came from someone who visited really lame places, but in Vietnam this saying is fairly accurate. Crossing the roads here is absolute madness at first, it seems so chaotic, and dangerous. But after further observation I've realized how organic and efficient their system is compared to ours. If we suddenly made drivers in Hanoi follow the rules of the road we do in Canada the roads would be at a stand still 24/7. I'd venture to say Vietnamese drivers are better than Canadian drivers because driving here requires one's complete undivided attention. Come to think of it walking here requires more attention than in Canada. The sidewalks are often filled with kiosks, forcing walkers onto the streets, so you're becoming part of the organism that is Vietnamese transportation.
